Kerala Splendor – 8 Nights 9 Days Tour Package
8 Night 9 DayTrip Highlights
You’ll start with Cochin pretty chill place, bit of heritage, bit of modern vibe. You won’t feel rushed here. It’s more like walk around, explore Fort Kochi, Chinese nets, old churches, maybe a Kathakali show if you’re up for it. Food is good here if you like seafood or filter coffee, you’ll love it.
Then we’ll head to Munnar this is where everything just slows down. Hills, tea gardens everywhere, cool breeze… the mood changes completely. Perfect for couples or even families who just wanna take a break from city madness. Some sightseeing, yes like Mattupetty Dam, Top Station, Eravikulam but mostly it’s just the vibe. Evenings are quiet and beautiful. Carry a light jacket, it gets a bit cold at night.
After Munnar, you’ll go to Thekkady more of a forest feel. You can go boating in Periyar, try the spice plantations, even watch Kalaripayattu if you’re into martial arts kinda stuff. People love the jeep safari or elephant rides too. It’s not just about clicking pics, it’s more immersive here.
Then comes Alleppey this is the highlight for many. Houseboat stay. It’s not fancy-fancy but there’s something super peaceful about cruising through backwaters, watching life move slowly locals in small boats, kids waving, sunset on the lake. Food is served fresh on the boat veg or non-veg, as per your taste. Night on the water is quiet, calming.
After that, we’ll head to Kovalam or Varkala depending on your vibe. Kovalam has proper beach resort feels, clean beaches, ayurvedic massage options. Varkala is a little more relaxed, more cliffside cafes, young crowd. Either way, this is where you wind down the trip, chill by the sea, maybe grab a beer or fresh juice and just do nothing.
Final day, you’ll wrap up from Trivandrum quick visit to the temple or museum if time allows and then fly back.
Overall, it’s a mix hills, forest, backwaters, beach all in one trip. No crazy rush, just a good balance of sightseeing and relaxation. Most people come back saying “wish we had stayed one more day” that’s how Kerala is. Peaceful, green, and very real.
