Magical Kerala Escape – 4 Nights 5 Days Tour
4 Night 5 DayTrip Highlights
So this trip is for 5 days and 4 nights — it’s a chill getaway, nothing too rushed. Mostly peaceful places, nice clean air, and that proper “need a break from all the city noise” kinda vibe
First 2 nights you stay in Munnar — weather there is usually cool, especially mornings n evenings, so light jacket helps. It’s all tea gardens, waterfalls, green hills everywhere… feels so fresh, like you’re breathing better People really enjoy just sitting near the view with chai. Roads are a bit curvy while reaching, but worth it once you’re there.
Then 1 night in Thekkady — this place is more nature and spice plantations. Jungle feel, but safe. There’s a boat ride in Periyar Lake… you might see elephants or deer if lucky. Food is more on the local side here, simple and homely. Nothing too spicy unless you ask.
Last night is in Alleppey — here you relax in a houseboat. It floats slowly through the backwaters, super peaceful. Literally no traffic, no honking Just birds, water, greenery all around. Houseboat food is mostly veg, with Kerala rice, curry, some fry items — fresh and tasty.
Overall, this trip is best for couples, families, or anyone just needing a proper recharge. Good photos, relaxed itinerary, and not too expensive also. Let me know if you want to include cab, meals, or anything else — we customise everything
Day-wise Itinerary
So we’ll pick you up from Kochi and take to the hotel. It’s a scenic drive — around 4 to 5 hours — with waterfalls, hills, and tea estates along the way. We can stop for chai, some pics here n there. Once you reach the hotel, just relax for the day. Weather is usually cool, you’ll feel the difference from the city heat. Evening you can step out nearby, explore the town a bit or just chill at the hotel.
After breakfast, we’ll go for local sightseeing — Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Museum… all relaxed places. Not a very tight schedule, so you’ll have time to enjoy the views, click pics, maybe buy some tea or spices. Afternoon, back to the hotel — you can rest, or take a small walk around the tea gardens if you’re up for it. The vibe is peaceful, not crowded.
We’ll start a bit early and drive to Thekkady — around 3-4 hours. The route is quite scenic again, lots of greenery and spice plantations. After checking in, we can go for the Periyar Lake boat ride — it’s a calm experience, and sometimes you see wild animals on the shore. Evening there are options like a spice garden visit or cultural shows (Kathakali or martial arts). Totally up to you, no pressure. Food here is usually simple and fresh.
After breakfast, we head to Alleppey — this is the backwaters part. You’ll check into a houseboat around noon. From there it’s all chill — boat cruises slowly through the canals, you just relax, eat, enjoy the views. They’ll serve lunch, snacks, and dinner on board. It’s peaceful, good for a digital detox. Night stay is on the houseboat — most people love this part of the trip.
Next morning, after breakfast, we’ll check out from the houseboat and drive back to Kochi. Depending on your train or flight timing, we can stop for a quick visit at Fort Kochi or local market if there’s time. Otherwise, straight drop at airport or station.
